The Wayne State University Planetarium staff will be participating in the annual Astronomy at the Beach event hosted by the Great Lakes Association of Astronomy Clubs on September 29th & 30th from 6pm-midnight! This year the venue has changed - we will be at Island Lake Recreation Area in Brighton, MI. Events will be going on rain or shine - come see our fire tornado and check out our diffraction glasses! As long as the weather is good we'll have our telescopes out as well. Come meet local astronomers and join us as we learn about the night sky.
