Wayne State's undergraduate astronomy degree program combines classes in physics and astronomy to provide students with foundational knowledge in astronomy, including contemporary developments such as the problems of dark matter and dark energy in the universe!
Graduates with a bachelor's in astronomy will be equipped with a strong scientific background for entry-level jobs or advanced degree programs in astronomy and astrophysics across a broad spectrum of disciplines including business, education, law, scientific journalism, teaching and the social and physical sciences.
