Polaris the Space Submarine and the Mystery of the Polar Night
"Polaris, the Space Submarine and the Mystery of the Polar Night" aligns with grade one science standards and introduces our young astronomers to the way seasons work on different parts of the earth. Our exploratory penguin James travels to the North Pole where he meets a polar bear named Vladimir and discovers they have similar seasons, even though they live on opposite sides of the planet! Using the scientific method, they explore how and why the poles have darkness for half the year, when other parts of the Earth do not.
